Questions

Before you ask

How many people can the Stone Barn hold for a retreat?
Up to 150 seated at the long farm tables inside the barn, with the patio for lunch and breaks. Smaller teams of 20 to 50 use the barn as one room and the upstairs studio for breakouts.
What does a retreat day cost?
The same published packages as our weddings: a full day is $4,500 for up to 50, $5,500 for up to 100 and $6,000 for up to 150. An evening only is $3,000 to $5,000. Most retreats are Monday through Friday, which is $500 off any package.
Can we bring our own caterer?
Yes. Outside caterers are welcome, and we can suggest local ones who know the barn. A case of our own Stone Barn Winery wine is included; an alcohol-free day is $300 off.
Is there power and space for presentations?
The barn has power throughout and a pine-ceilinged main room that seats everyone facing one way or around the tables. Bring your own screen and audio, or ask us about local rental.
How far is it from Sacramento?
About forty-five minutes from Sacramento International Airport, near Plymouth in Amador County. The Shenandoah Valley wineries are a few miles away for an evening out.
Can our team stay on the ranch?
The retreat covers the barn, the patio, the upstairs studio and the grounds. The ranch's riverfront campground and cabins are a separate business and are not part of a retreat booking — ask us about lodging in Plymouth and the Shenandoah Valley.
